PART IIl PREVENTION OF BUSH FIRES

SECTION 18 - RESTRICTED BURNING TIME (POSTPONED)

Pursuant to Section 18 Bush Fires Act 1954 the Shire of Esperance advises it will

postpone the commencement of its Restricted Burning Time.

Restricted Burning Time will now commence on Friday, 25 September 2026 for ALL

ZONES.

This due to current seasonal conditions and to provide additional time for the Shire to

implement an online permit to burn system.

Please note: The Shire of Esperance encourages all Landowner/Occupiers carrying

out any burning off activities upon their land, to please log their activities by calling

DFES Communications on Ph: 08 9395 9209. This will assist with volunteer resources

unnecessarily responding to private burns, mistaken as a reported fire.
