The Shire of Esperance Council Plan 2026–2036 is now under review, and we need to hear from you! This is your chance to help shape the direction of Council and our community over the next 10 years.

The Council Plan sets out our shared vision for Esperance’s future, outlining community aspirations, key priorities, and how progress will be achieved, measured, and reported.

We’ll be hosting two community workshops at the Esperance Civic Centre in November, and everyone is invited to take part:

Workshop 1: 6pm–8pm, Wednesday 19 November 2025

Workshop 2: 9.30am–11.30am, Thursday 20 November 2025

These workshops will:

  • Share findings from the 2025 MARKYT® Community Scorecard
  • Review key actions to address community priorities

Together, we’ll explore a wide range of topics, including:

  • Economic development and tourism
  • The Esperance Town Centre
  • Local roads and infrastructure
  • Community safety and emergency services
  • Youth programs and services
  • Sustainable development and responsible planning
  • Climate change and environmental sustainability, and more.

Your feedback will directly inform the Council Plan 2026–2036, alongside community survey results and other strategic planning documents.
