Lost/Damaged Items

  • Items that are lost or returned in a damaged condition will incur a replacement charge equivalent to the cost of restoring or repurchasing the item.
  • Items overdue by 28 days or more are considered 'lost'. In such cases, a replacement charge will be applied to the borrower's account. This charge will be waived upon the return of the item in acceptable condition.
  • Please note: The administration fee previously applied to lost items has been discontinued. Borrowers will now only be charged the replacement cost of the item, and no fees will apply if the item is returned.

Please note: Fees and Charges are set by Council.
