The Shire of Esperance is developing the residential area of Flinders Estate.
Flinders Estate is located adjacent to the coast at Bandy Creek, between Ormonde Street, Goldfields Road, Daw Drive and the Bandy Creek Boat Harbour, comprising approx. 124 hectares of land.
- Stage 1 – 33 residential lots. SOLD
- Stage 2 – 89 lots plus a 1ha, R40 multi-unit site. SOLD
- Stage 4 - 24 lots. SOLD
Under Development
- Stage 3 - Stage 3 consists of 45 standard sized residential lots with construction dependant on external funding.
Flinders Estate Concept Plan Review
Flinders Estate will play an important role in meeting Esperance's future housing needs, supporting local jobs and fostering economic growth. Parts of the estate have already been developed, but a large area remains undeveloped. This gives us an opportunity to think carefully about how this land can best meet the needs of our community into the future.
That's why the Shire of Esperance is reviewing how Flinders Estate is designed and planned, and we’re inviting the community to help shape what comes next.
Consultation is open from Monday 27 July to 4pm, Monday 17 August 2026, and we've created several opportunities for the community to share their ideas.

Additionally, the Shire releases individual residential lots that are identified as being surplus to operational requirements as and when they are identified.
