The latest edition of the Shire Flyer is out now, bringing together a snapshot of what’s been happening across Council and the Shire.
Coming out every two weeks, this Shire Flyer covers highlights from a busy March Council Meeting (full coverage available here), a reminder that Annual Community Grants, supporting projects over $3,000 and covering up to 50 per cent of total project costs, are open till 10 April, and news about the new Ranger Polaris, designed specifically for regional emergency response, for our dedicated local SES volunteers.
You’ll also find a roundup of activity at the Shire tent during last weekend’s 2026 Condingup Community Fair, where Councillors and staff spent the day chatting with locals and visitors, hearing feedback, answering questions, discussing major projects - and sharing our popular giveaways!
Local volunteers and volunteer involving organisations recently benefited from two free workshops delivered by respected trainer Martin J Cowling, hosted by the Esperance Volunteer Resource Centre, and Council’s endorsement of the H+H Architects Design Review Report marked another important milestone for the James Street Cultural Precinct.
Catch up on the full Shire Flyer here, and sign up to have it delivered to your email in-box every two weeks here.
