Seniors Tea & Talk

The first Seniors Tea & Talk session at the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre was well received, with attendees enjoying the opportunity to connect, and already looking forward to the next gathering, just over a week away on Friday 7 August.

The Leisure Centre is not just about physical activity and fitness - it’s also a place where friendships are formed and community connections thrive. That's the inspiration behind this new monthly initiative, held on the first Friday of every month at 9.00am.

Senior members attending the pool, gym or a group fitness class are invited to stay afterwards for a relaxed morning of tea, coffee and conversation. Staying socially connected is just as important as staying physically active, and Seniors Tea & Talk provides a simple and enjoyable way to do both.

If you've been thinking about becoming a little more active and just need a gentle nudge, why not join the M-Swing fitness class or have a dip in the hydrotherapy pool on Friday 7 August, then stay afterwards to enjoy a cuppa and some friendly conversation? We would love to see you there.
