A temporary road closure is in place on Merivale Road between Tyrrells Road and Orlean Bay Road due to extensive flooding and dangerous conditions.
Tyrrell Road remains open to traffic, all other side roads connecting to Merivale Road along this route are closed at Merivale Rd with signs erected.
Numerous roads across the Shire have flooding, staff are out assessing the Shire road network and further notifications are expected.
Road safety is everyone’s responsibility – drive safely and to conditions.
