The September Council Meeting is held in one of our satellite towns every year, and Cascade has been given the nod for September 2026!
Cascade Community Hall – Tuesday 22 September
2:00pm – Community Meeting: Share your ideas, raise local issues and have a conversation directly with Councillors and the Shire Executive Team.
4:00pm – Ordinary Council Meeting: See local government in action and learn more about the decisions that help shape our community.
Dinner to follow: Enjoy a lovely catered meal afterwards – a great way to wrap up the day with some food and a chat with decision makers from Council and the Shire, as well as your neighbours!
Past regional Council Meetings have led to great conversations and valuable local insights. There's no substitute for local knowledge, and no one knows the community’s needs better than the people who live and work there. These meetings give Councillors and staff the chance to hear directly from residents about what matters most in their community and what's important for the future.
