Shark Warning - Table Island, Duke of Orleans Bay
Esperance Shire Rangers have installed SHARK WARNING signs at the Table Island beach and carpark at the Duke of Orleans Bay. This is in response to a whale carcass washing up on the beach and a possible increase to shark activity in the area.
DPIRD officers along with staff from the Shire of Esperance and the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions are monitoring the situation and providing advice to relevant authorities.
- Stop and read all signage.
- Please take extra precaution in the Duke of Orleans Bay area.
- Respect officers doing their job in the area.
