HARVEST & VEHICLE MOVEMENT BAN

UPDATE 27/12/2023 7.05pm - Harvest & Vehicle Movement Ban has now been LIFTED for zones West 1 & West 2.

UPDATE 27/12/2023 8.15am. Please see below an update on the current Harvest & Vehicle Movement Bans in place.

Shire of Esperance advises there is still a Harvest & Vehicle Movement Ban in effect for the following zones:

West 1
West 2

Ban is lifted for all other zones.

Many thanks to all resources that have assisted with the various fires yesterday and for those assisting today. 

Shire of Esperance advise a Harvest & Vehicle Movement Ban is now effective for ALL ZONES, until further notice.

During this time the Wylie Bay Waste Facility will be CLOSED.

The whole of the Shire is still in a Total Fire Ban.

Please watch out for lightning strikes as they have already started fires.

The following activities are not permitted during the Harvest & Vehicle Movement Ban period;
Grain and Tree Harvesting operations are not permitted.
The use and operations of Exploration Drill Rigs.
Any off-road activity is banned, unless it is for agricultural purposes or work being conducted by business, industry, and public authorities.
