Notice of Public Advertisement of Planning Proposal

The local government has received an application to develop land for the following purpose and public comments are invited.

Proposal: Development Application for the James Street Cultural Precinct, incorporating new library, visitor centre, volunteer resource centre, and museum upgrades including a new cafe and outdoor civic spaces.
Location: Lot No: 103, 294 and 737 (No.68) Dempster Street, Esperance.

Details of the proposal are available to the public on the Shire website haveyoursay.esperance.wa.gov.au or from the Shire of Esperance Administration Building on Windich Street.

Submission Period

Submissions may be made on the proposal on or before 4pm Thursday, 25 June 2026.
