The Esperance Volunteer Resource Centre (VRC) recently released the last of seven videos, sharing stories, celebrating our volunteers, and exploring different aspects of volunteer management. The latest video, Regional Volunteering in Esperance, shines a spotlight on the everyday heroes who make our towns tick.

In small regional communities like Esperance, volunteers aren’t just helpful—they’re essential. This heartfelt video introduces us to locals who generously give their time to everything from bushfire brigades and aged care walks to theatre productions, delivering hay to farmers in need, and community events.

Through their stories, we see how volunteering not only strengthens the community but also brings joy, purpose, and lifelong friendships to those who get involved.

This video is part of a broader initiative by VRC staff, supported by Volunteering WA and the Federal Department of Social Services, and aimed at promoting inclusive and meaningful volunteer opportunities across the region.

The VRC team are here to help non-profit organisations, community groups, volunteers, and anyone who would like to get involved with their community - so get in touch!
