Proposed Local Law

Pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Esperance proposes to make the Parking and Parking Facilities Local Law.

The purpose of this local law is to provide for the management and regulation of parking within the district.

The effect of this local law is to manage parking throughout the district to ensure safe, fair and equitable use and access of parking facilities under the care and management of the local government.

Copies of the Local Law can be obtained from the Shire of Esperance Administration Office, Windich Street Esperance, between the hours of 8.30am and 4.45pm, Monday to Friday, or from the Shire of Esperance website, here.

Submissions about the proposed local law may be made to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Esperance, PO Box 507 Esperance WA 6450 by 4.00pm Saturday 26 July 2025.
