Gym & Fitness Classes

The Bay of Isles Leisure Centre has a fully equipped gymnasium and a range of exciting health and fitness classes.


Our fully equipped gymnasium has a range of cardio equipment including:

  • Cardio area - treadmills, rowers, bikes, cross trainers and steppers
  • Pin loaded weights
  • Free weights area
  • Wheelchair accessible machines

It is a friendly atmosphere where people of all ages, sizes and fitness levels are welcome. We offer free comprehensive fitness evaluations and personalised training programs to our members and qualified instructors are regularly available and happy to answer any questions you may have.

Personal Training

Personal training is about empowering you to be fitter, stronger and to bring out your confidence. The workouts are fun, energizing and enjoyable as it is tailored to your fitness level.  Workouts are customized over a half hour or one hour period. Group Fitness Classes

Group fitness is the ultimate way to stay motivated. The Bay of Isles Leisure Centre offers a diverse and fun range of classes, including Les Mills and Studio Pilates, suited to all fitness levels.

Workouts are carefully designed by our experienced instructors to ensure classes are varied, challenging and constantly changing.


Class Descriptions


30 mintues of a unique workout on water, using traditional gym workout techniques. The Fitmat platform creates the utimate core workout.


30 minutes of core focused moves that will make your abs burn combined with a floating Fitmat platform to provide the ultimate core workout.


30 minutes of Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates moves combined on a floating Fitmat platform to provide the ultimate core workout.


30 minutes of Yoga on a Fitmat platform that switches your entire being on while practicing techniques that will allow you to get the most out of poses with increased focus, intense concentration and more purpose while working out efficiently.


is a challenging 45 minute class that combines the cardio from a Spin class and weight workout from a Pump Class.  Push your body to its limits.


is a power packed class focusing on boxing training techniques incorporating Cardio with muscle conditioning. This class provides a challenging workout for all around fitness.


is for all the people who love good old fashion cardio using a step, finishing off with an all over Weights and toning program.


is a dynamic indoor cycling workout which takes you through 45 minutes of energy charged cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength and endurance. Classes include a variety of sprints and hill climbs with motivating music. If it is a calorie burn you want then this is the class for you.


is a class located in the gym that maximizes strength, tones muscles and improves cardio performance as well as familiarising patrons with gym equipment all the while under the watchful eye of an Instructor.


is for Abs, Butts and Thighs. This class takes the principles of toning to a new level. Shape your body in areas that need some persuasive help with light weights and body weight techniques. This class is tailored for all levels of fitness and ability.


is the ultimate High Intensity Timed Training session you will ever experience. It is a class that combines weights, aerobic moves and timed interval rest periods which will push you to the realm of no return. Come and experience real achievement that will push you in 30 minutes and feel the calories burn.


gives you the chance to come and enjoy the outdoors while you push punch lift and run your way to the ultimate physical exertion you know you can only get from BOOT Camp.


is a new Hip Hop fitness workout which combines easy to follow dance moves with fitness concepts to improve endurance and sculpt your body. Don’t be afraid. It’s for Men and Woman of all ages. No Dance or fitness experience needed and easy to follow.


is a low impact class in which the water helps support your body and provides resistance to increase your strength and improve your health. Classes are perfect for people wanting to increase their fitness without straining their body.


uses traditional Pilate moves, Pilate circles and bands to increase resistance in the workout which gets you that incredible body toning and results - fast.


is the original Barbell class that strengths and tones the body.  This workout challenges all major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like squat, presses, lifts and curls. Pumping music, awesome Instructors and the fastest way to lose body fat and shape up that will burn 600 calories in 60 minutes.


includes Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilate’s workout building flexibility, improving posture, joint mobility and range of movement to ensure better movement and fewer injuries. Controlled breathing, moves and poses to music creating so much more than a simple workout  it's your personal ‘time out’ from the stress of daily living.


Healthwise is a supervised gymnasium program available to clients over 50 years of age that have been referred by a medical professional. During Healthwise sessions participants have priority access to the gym equipment.
