The Shire of Esperance, the Goldfields Esperance Development Commission and the Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with Telstra recently to discuss shortfalls in their services. Council is keen to know how Telstra will work to fix the network and connectivity problems we’re all too aware of.

Telstra are looking at a temporary structure to alleviate the immediate issues, particularly in the Esperance town centre, and are also considering longer term solutions. The Shire will continue to advocate for our community on vital access to communication channels, working with our local professional bodies to get the same level of services city populations can take for granted.
