About the Civic Centre
Opened in 1981, the Esperance Civic Centre provides the focal point of entertainment in the south east of Western Australia.
The community facility is regularly favoured for concerts, drama, dance and music productions, conventions large and small, music festivals, graduation ceremonies, fashion parades, wedding receptions, religious services, quiz nights, luncheons, meetings, exhibitions… the list goes on.
The Venue Features:
- The Foyer: 150 person capacity complete with refreshment bar.
- The Auditorium: 499 seating capacity generously tiered to provide superb uninterrupted views of the stage. Easy conversion to flat floor for cabaret style setting allowing over 340 guests to wine and dine at tables while enjoying fine entertainment. The venue boasts extensive stage lighting and sound facilities sufficient to satisfy most touring requirements and easy stage level access makes bumping-in a breeze for production crews.
- Reception Room: Full seating capacity is 250 guests but can be divided into two rooms, one carpeted and one set up as a dance floor.
- Commercial Kitchen
