Who can take part? Subject to the conditions below, tours & presentations are available to Shire of Esperance Schools, Early Learning Centres, and Community Groups & Local Businesses.
Operating Days Tours available Monday or Wednesday between the hours of 9.30am – 11.30am

Parking and transport
  • School groups must arrive by bus, unless previously negotiated with the Tour Conductor.
  • The bus must present to the Gatehouse with passengers on board, and follow the Tour Conductor directions to the drop off/pick up point, located to the left.
  • The bus driver must then follow directions to safe and suitable parking for the duration of the tour.
  • Visitors arriving by private vehicle must present to the gate attendant who will direct visitors to appropriate parking for the duration of the tour.
  • Please gather near to the ‘Emergency Shower’, off the road, until the Tour Conductor instructs you to enter.
  • At conclusion of the tour, a Tour Chaperone must notify the bus driver to present to the drop off location to pick tour group up.
Safety Precautions
  • Closed in flat shoes must be worn. Long pants & shirt sleeves are recommended.
  • Visitors must wear any safety equipment that is given to them under the direction of the Tour Conductor, including high visibility vests that must be worn by Excursion Chaperones.
  • Whilst on tour, visitors must remain to the outside of yellow safety lines painted on the floor and must follow the directions of the Tour Conductor.
  • Visitors are requested not to bring personal belongings with them – there are no storage facilities for the safe-keeping of bags, cameras etc.
  • All safety signage and verbal instructions must be obeyed.
Cancellations Tours and presentations may need to be cancelled or rescheduled with short notice in the event of staff illness, extreme weather conditions, operational requirements, WA Health advice or other unforeseen circumstances.
