#shoWcAse in Pixels Design Competition
You can be involved in #shoWcAse IN PIXELS - one of the state’s largest community arts projects - and have a chance to win a $500 prize.
The annual exhibition of artwork from Local Governments will be displayed at the iconic digital tower at the heart of Yagan Square. The 45 metre high tower features a circular screen with 14 columns, representing the 14 Noongar language groups.
This is an opportunity to showcase our beautiful region and our local talent to the thousands of people visiting the Perth Central Business District. In 2020 display dates are tentativly set for Monday, 27 July – Sunday, 9 August.
Individuals, schools, community groups and professional artists within the Shire of Esperance are invited to submit digital designs for the 2020 competition.
The medium and canvas you choose is up to your imagination. If your entry is not born digital, then just take a photo and email us the image.
Councillors will vote for the best local design to be submitted into the WALGA #shoWcAse IN PIXELS competition.
A prize of a $500 voucher from a local business of your choice will be awarded to the winner.
So get out your brushes or glue or needle & thread or textas or paints or fire up the computer or clean the lens of your camera and get creative!
