Notice is hereby given that Shire of Esperance (Planning Services) is in receipt of an application for development approval for a Resource Recovery Centre at Lot 9 (3587) Merivale Road, Condingup.

In accordance with Local Planning Scheme No. 24, Resource Recovery Centre is an ‘A’ use with a mandatory advertising requirement. Council Policy EXT 033 – Local Planning Scheme No. 24 Advertising Requirements indicates that advertising for a Resource Recovery Centre is to be via letter to adjoining landowners and a notice on the Shire Webpage. 

As per the consultation provisions of the Deemed Provisions of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015., this proposal is currently being advertised for public comment.

Submissions (in writing indicating support or objection to the proposal, including reasons for objection) on the proposal may be made in writing and lodged with the Shire of Esperance on or before closure of business on 16 October 2024.
