Every Club Hub

DLGSC Sport and Recreation are committed to giving every club in Western Australia access to resources, guides, training opportunities and information on how they can improve their club and support their volunteers and members.

KidSport

KidSport enables eligible Western Australian children aged 5 -18 years to participate in community sport and recreation by offering them financial assistance towards club fees. The fees go directly from the government to the registered KidSport clubs participating in the project.

Working With Children Check

The Working with Children Check is a compulsory screening strategy in Western Australia and the Christmas and Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

Changes are coming 1 July 2023, to help you stay up to date with these changes Dept of Communities are running online workshops. Click here to register.

Good Sports

Good Sports - Australia’s largest community health sports program – has been helping build strong community sporting clubs across Australia for over 20 years.

Being part of Good Sports shows your community that your club is a welcoming place, helping to bring in and keep members and volunteers. It can also help you comply with legal requirements, and you’ll get free access to program staff, tools and resources.

Clubs WA

Clubs WA is the not-for-profit industry body that represents the interests of licensed and community clubs in Western Australia.  They work with the Government, private sector and public to strengthen the role of clubs amongst local communities and ensure they remain viable.

Clubs WA has a membership of over 500 clubs and associations.  Our membership is strong as in addition to advocating to government for our industry, we provide direct support and tailored advice to our clubs.

Associations Online

Did you know Associations and Clubs are required to submit an information statement to Consumer Protection every year. This statement confirms the association is still active, eligible to be incorporated and has held its Annual General Meeting (AGM)? Information statements must be submitted within six (6) months after the end of an association’s financial year.
