Recent warm weather, elevated humidity and light showers have provided ideal conditions for mosquito breeding and we are encouraging you to monitor your backyard to help control mosquitoes breeding and protect yourself from being bitten.
As school goes back it’s a good time to think about where we can and can’t park, particularly around schools. It’s the driver’s responsibility to park their car legally to help ease parking issues and keep our children safe.
There was fun and games at the library last week when Nanci Nott visited with her book Zany Circus. There was music, animations, colouring and kids even made juggling balls with rice and balloons and had a quick lesson in how to juggle.
Fancy yourself a tech wizard? Would you like to learn about robots? The library held its first Maker Space session this week were you could program robots, play music on fruit and draw paths for little robots to follow. Sound interesting?
