The Shire of Esperance is inviting the Esperance community to attend artist-led workshops to help contribute to a new mural for the Esperance Indoor Stadium.

The workshops, facilitated by the Shire, the Cannery Arts Centre and Esperance Community Arts, will see artist George Domahidy  collaborate with the community to develop the artwork.

The new large-scale mural will cover the exterior walls of the Stadium and will aim to express energy, vibrancy, playfulness and a sense of fun.

Community Information Sessions will be held at the Indoor Stadium on Wednesday 17 February, 2021 for anyone interested in hearing more about the project. Info Session times are:

[⏱]  3.30pm for youth and school children

[⏱]  5:30pm

Free workshops will follow these sessions to develop the artwork with the community members who want to participate in the project.

Workshops will be held through February and March at the Cannery Arts Centre. Signup for more information at one of the Info Sessions.
