The Tanker Jetty Replacement Survey is now open for community input and Council is urging everyone to take part and have their opinion heard.
After a unanimous decision by Council last month to demolish the jetty in the interest of public safety and the financial interests of the community and ratepayers, discussions have turned to what the community would like to see as a replacement. The Tanker Jetty Replacement Survey will allow the diverse community opinions to be collated so a decision can be made for the benefit of the community as a whole.
Council Corners will provide an opportunity for community members to discuss ideas face to face with Councillors, and will be held at the Yabby Classic on 27th February , Sunday Markets on 13th March and Condingup Fair 19th March. For those who are unable to attend, Councillors are always available to speak with, and everyone is urged to take part in the survey.
Two fact sheets are available to answer some of the questions the Shire has been hearing from the community.
