The boiler at the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre has, unfortunately, decided to retire without waiting for replacement parts. Due to this unexpected circumstance the aquatic area at the BOILC cannot be heated.
Staff are ordering a replacement boiler as a priority. Unfortunately a replacement does not exist in the state and will have to be freighted over from the Eastern States. Once an expected date for arrival is provided we will inform the community and particularly those who are regular users of the facility. We apologise for the inconvenience experienced by our patrons.
BOILC management will advise Members and Swim school participants of options moving forward. This may entail credits for memberships and classes that need to be deferred. More information will be forwarded once a time frame is supplied for the replacement.
The aquatic area will be closed to the public from 21st June 2016 for an expected couple of weeks. The aquatic area includes the Lap, Lagoon and Hydro Pools and the Spa. The dry area is unaffected.
