The annual swim to Woody Island has had a revamp and, for the first time in the program’s 12-year history, it will be possible to swim, run, walk, ride or row to Woody Island.

Participants need to complete the 35 kilometre distance to Woody Island, either by swimming that distance in the pool, or covering 35 kilometres by running, walking, rowing or cycling on gym equipment in the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre.

The event is held each year at the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre to promote continuing health and fitness activities during the winter months. Sponsored by Esperance Island Cruises, participants who complete the 35-kilometres are offered a free daytrip to Woody Island.

Registration is open now at Bay of isles Leisure Centre and activity will be recorded from July 15.
