Roads

The Shire of Esperance has the largest road network of any local government in Western Australia encompassing 4,593km of road. 

The Footpath and Cycleway network is an important community asset maintained by the Shire.

Drainage

The Esperance stormwater drainage network is system of pipes and pits designed to transport water runoff from developed property to either the coast or sumps.

Buildings

The Shire of Esperance is responsible for approximately 80 building assets throughout the shire which require to be maintained on a regular basis.

Parks & Reserves

The Parks and Reserves team are responsible for the maintenance and upgrade of Shire managed Public Open Space, Coastal Reserves, Nature Reserves and Streetscapes.

Working in partnership with other levels of government and stakeholders, the Shire provides a Footpath and
