The Community Christmas Pageant is an annual street parade of towed or self-propelled floats and community groups. It has been coordinated by the Shire of Esperance for the past 13 years.
The parade is a way of celebrating the festive season in Esperance by way of public entertainment and celebration. It is a wonderful opportunity for local service clubs and schools to set up food stalls to raise money and awareness of their contribution to our community. The Museum Village Markets will also feature prior and after the parade.
The pageant will take place at 3.30pm on Sunday December 10. Santa will attend the pageant and be available for photos. There will be community floats, free face painting and it will also be possible to send a letter to Santa at Santa’s Postbox that will be installed at the Museum Village on the afternoon of the pageant. Children who provide their name and address will receive a letter from Santa.
