Community Perception Survey

The 2019 Community Perception survey is now open! You can complete it online here A hard copy of the Community Perception Survey with a reply paid envelope will be sent to 6500 letterboxes throughout the Shire of Esperance. Hard copies will also be available at the Museum Markets (3 &17 February), the library, the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre, the Shire Administration Building and at a pop up stall in the Boulevard (7 February). The survey will close on Friday 22 February 2019. On completion of the analysis of the survey, the results will be posted on the Shire’s website and copies will be available at the library. 

The Community Perception Survey enables Council to keep in touch with the current wishes of local residents, determine priorities and make the best decisions possible on behalf of the community in line with our Strategic Community Plan. The survey provides broad information regarding community opinions on services and facilities throughout the shire. Councillors and Shire officers frequently refer to the results to support decision making and strategic planning. Community views and comments are highly valued and guide future planning activities.
