Precontent

The Shire of Esperance Ranger Services team have a significant role in making our community a better place to live. The team works closely with the local Police and are involved in the ‘Eyes on the Street’ program that reports any suspicious activity. The Ranger Services team actively educates the community on local issues and contributes towards local community events.

Rangers are responsible for local and state law enforcement, coastal reserves patrols and maintenance and block inspections under the Bushfires Act. Ranger Services can assist with snake capture and release and animal welfare complaints which are passed onto the RSPCA for inquiry.
