Restore Hope Sleep Out

Last Friday I took part in the Restore Hope Sleep out with 15 other members of the community to raise money and awareness for homelessness in Esperance. While homelessness may not be as noticeable here as it is in bigger cities, we still have people doing it tough.
While it’s not something I’d like to do every night, I believe it was an important way to help out  a local charity that helps out so many others.
I would like to thank everyone at the Shire of Esperance who raised $435.30 and Dome for donating $250, and to those who sponsored other sleep out participants. Restore Hope raised around $5,000 from the event and it sounds like there are already many who want to get on board for next year.
If you would like to make a donation or for further information visit Restore Hope Foundation Esperance on Facebook.
