With Easter and School Holidays around the corner the Shire of Esperance would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Easter. It’s also a good time to remember to stay safe on the roads. This extends beyond our sealed roads and applies to unsealed roads and beaches too. Remember to keep to the tracks, only drive in designated areas and don’t forget that road rules still apply to these areas. Esperance Police have advised they will be conducting breath testing over the long weekend, select a designated driver, grab a taxi or stretch those legs.
If you are camping this weekend please only camp in designated camping spots, dispose of your rubbish responsibly and keep in mind that dogs are not permitted in some areas.
There are many events on too! The Skylab Classic will be held this weekend, The Blessing of the Roads will be held next Thursday, the Jungkajungka Woodlands Festival is on next weekend, there’s an Easter Hunt on Woody Island and the One and All Community Programs are coming up to keep school kids entertained.
