The Esperance Town Centre Revitalisation Draft Master Plan 2015 – 2035 is now available for the community to view and provide input.

The 20 year plan aims to ensure the ‘central heart’ of Esperance is a great place to experience, and highlights social, economic and cultural opportunities. The plan is intended to enhance the town centre as a social and cultural hub, to attract investment in town, and enhance the connectivity of current and future key attractors within and adjacent to the town centre. The plan is not final but is intended as a guide to potential development options.

The plan can be viewed online here (It is a large document and may take a few minutes to download).

A physical copy can be viewed at the Shire Administration Building, Esperance Public Library, Esperance Visitor Centre, Bay of Isles Leisure Centre, Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI), and Goldfields Esperance Development Commission (GEDC).

USB sticks containing the plan can be collected from the Shire, ECCI and GEDC.

Community forums will be held over coming months to answer questions and collect input. Group information sessions can also be arranged for community groups.

Comments on the Draft Master Plan must be submitted in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Esperance, PO Box 507, Esperance, WA, 6450 or emailed to shire@esperance.wa.gov.au
