Community input is invited on the draft Esperance Coastal Management Plan. This Plan needs to accurately reflect our changing needs as a community while ensuring we are vigilant in our care of our magnificent coastal environment.

The draft Esperance Coastal Management Plan is available HERE. Please note this Plan contains a high number of graphics and can be slow to download. Copies can be obtained from the Library and the Shire Administration Office.

The objective of the Plan is to provide a framework for the management and protection of our magnificent coast line in a sustainable way so it can be enjoyed by future generations.     • Future management of the remote Thomas River and Israelite Bay Reserves
    • Public education on responsible use of the coastal reserves
    • Risk management and hazard control
    • Development of public amenities and facilities
