Shire of Esperance Council and representatives from the Goldfields Esperance Development Commission, Esperance Chamber of Commerce and the local media visited the Waterfront Project site this week. Accompanied by Grant Sime, Shire of Esperance Director of Engineering Gavin Harris guided the group around the headland and then the James Street to Andrew Street section of the foreshore and gave an overview of progress.

The group saw walking paths on the headland taking shape and the completed retaining walls at Andrew Street. The James Street Plaza beach access point is also being completed. The seating steps down to the beach are complete and the concrete staircase will soon be poured.
