Some exciting news for the Esperance community! The Chamber of Commerce in partnership with GEDC and the Shire of Esperance is hosting a state-wide ‘Town Centre Revitalisation’ conference on 8, 9 & 10 August in Esperance. The conference has been organised to start a state wide conversation about the future of our regional town centres, how to undertake effective town centre revitalisation and engage effectively with the community and the ideas, analysis and practical tools required to Masterplan for our town centres. It is envisaged that the conference will assist us locally as well as other regional towns to kick start the town centre revitalisation process and demonstrate our region leading the way on this project.
The conference will bring a range of leading industry professionals to Esperance for local organisations to ‘tap into’ their expertise and case studies. The event is expected to bring around 200 delegates to town as well as local participation, providing Esperance with an opportunity to showcase our town and resulting in many economic and tourism benefits during the off-peak season.
