Two great shows.... One great night.
In Francis Ford Coppola’s 1975 ground-breaking film The Godfather, the head of a prize horse is savagely cut off and placed in the bed of a hotshot Hollywood film director for the refusal of a favour... ever thought about the two guys that had to put it there?
HorseHead is a whip-cracking tale of two men (The Fonzie Brothers) given this viciously gruesome task to ensure their future with the mob. The play has had sold-out seasons in Perth, Melbourne, New York and Italy, winning the 2012 Rome International Fringe Festival along the way.
‘A kooky, thoroughly enjoyable play… a cleverly imagined farce.’ West Australian
‘A very witty and amusing, clever and highly entertaining piece of theatre.’ Melbourne Observer
I (Honestly) Love You
Lloyd and Belle are the two reluctant protagonists burdened with the truth-telling disease vitiositas veritas. Like most relationships, everything seems to be going… sort of well at the start. A hesitant first date, a disappointing initial sexual encounter and an unfortunate meeting with Belle’s parents…
Somehow the two lovers navigate these intimate difficulties enough to look each other in the eyes and say "I love you"… which, unbeknown to either of them, precipitates the next stage of the disease.
Nominated Best Play in WA, this comedy gem follows two people inflicted with a truth telling disease, as they meet and fall in love. ‘I (honestly) Love You’ has toured to Edinburgh, New York and Melbourne and had two seasons in Perth.
‘One of the funniest shows at the Fringe.' Usher Nonsense
‘Clever, well-seasoned production..put(s) the laugh in love. It’s great! (honestly).' Theatre Press
