Head to the Esperance town centre at 5pm on Thursday 10 November for a unique community event the whole family will enjoy.
The Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class Submarine HMAS Farncomb was commissioned in 1998 and the town of Esperance was designated as its affiliated town. The Shire of Esperance will finally have an opportunity to welcome the HMAS Farncomb and her crew to our town by officially granting Freedom of Entry on 10 November 2016.
The HMAS Farncomb crew will march through the Esperance town centre in full uniform, armed, with colours flying and with bands playing.
