Mobile muster is the official recycling programme of the mobile phone industry.
Mobile phone batteries, handsets and accessories, including chargers can be recycled. A collection box is available at the engineering counter of the shire office.
Batteries
A collection box is kept on the Engineering counter at the shire office reception. Common alkaline batteries and the NiCad, NiMH or Li-ion rechargeable batteries can be collected.
Drum Muster is an Australian wide programme whereby farmers can return old chemical drums.
The drums are later recycled into various plastic and steel products.
Requirements
* Appointment for Inspection required (see details below).
* Plastic and steel drums are accepted.
* All drums must be triple rinsed.
* Steel drums need to have a hole punched in the bottom.
* Drums must be checked by a certified Drum Muster Inspector before disposal.
