Wylie Bay Materials Recovery Facility

The Shire of Esperance Recycling Shed is a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). It is situated approx 10kms east of Esperance on the same site as the Wylie Bay Landfill. The recycling team sorts and bales the recyclables at the MRF ready for transport to Perth .


The MRF was officially opened on November 10th, 2001.

Opening Times

The recycling shed (MRF) is open 8.00am – 4.00pm, Monday - Friday. On weekends recyclable items can be placed in the bins outside the recycling shed.
