Community consultation on town centre revitalisation was conducted in two forums in Esperance on the 26th of July 2012. Thirty three community members participated in the afternoon forum and nineteen community members participated in the evening forum, with Shire of Esperance executives and managers in attendance for both forums.
By the end of each session, participants had:
· Heard the current context;
· Identified issues in the town centre;
· Explored the current dissatisfaction and articulated expectations;
· Provided input on Shire involvement in implementation; and
· Provided input on desired changes and the priority initiatives.
