Growth Plan

The Esperance SuperTowns project team comprising the Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission (GEDC), Shire of Esperance (SoE) and Esperance Chamber of Commerce (ECCI), has been working with the community to develop an aspirational Growth Plan for the future of the town and the south east region.

Since March 2012, the Esperance SuperTowns Project Team has been liasing with community and government stakeholders about the SuperTowns Growth Plan and our next key priorities. A revised Growth Plan has now been developed which will be used to guide the direction of the Esperance SuperTowns initiative and to influence Government priorities within Esperance and the sub-region for the period until 2036. This revised Plan is called ‘Planning our Future: A Growth Plan for Esperance and the South East Region’. Planning our Future identifies priority actions, projects and initiatives for our town and the sub-region.

Esperance SuperTowns Community Projects Update

On 4 December 2012 the Esperance SuperTowns Partnership held a Community Projects Update at the Civic Centre.  The purpose of the event was to inform the community on the current status of all the exciting projects happening in Esperance.  All presentations were limited to five minutes and once completed the representatives remained available for community members to have the opportunity to ask direct questions in an informal manner.  Over 100 people attended what was a very successful and informative event.

The SuperTowns Partnership would like to thank the presenters for their fantastic presentations and enthusiasm towards the projects they are involved with.  The community projects covered on the night are listed below including copies of power point presentations that were utilised.
